Pollyeverywhere Results from Fall 2015 Presentation

Fun!
Selfie videos could be a great way to allow for students practicing their pronunciation and vocabulary
My teachers will love this...so many options.
I really like fraze.com. I can already see using it with my students weekly. We could use it on vocabulary introduction days, or we could use it as a tool for independent reading vocabulary work.
I love the polygon game, and I think it would be a great addition to my culture class when we talk about diversity as a value in the US
I could see my staff using some of these during centers, using their lOADS.
I want to include more technology in my classroom, but with middle schoolers and with limited access to technology, I am sometimes more hesitant. I have used kahoot in the past and found it very motivating for students. The selfie videos could be easily integrated into the classroom. I am thinking we could even use them as "rough drafts" for class presentations.
i love using selfies to be able to evaluate my students' pronunciation individually and to provide specific individual feedback. I have used it for students to make their own news report to use the vocabulary we had learned.
I will use technology to motivate students by using what they want to use in class....their cell phones!
I would like to use weebly for my students to be able to
I think these would be good warm-up activities to review at the beginning of classes.
I teach citizenship interview skills. This would be great for 100 history and civics questions and also for answering many interview questions about, say, their most recent trip outside the US... Or, what do my students want to study next week? What needs more practice?
Increasing student engagement, using less paper and creating positive ways for students to use technology instead of just filler when they're done with their work early.
In my class, people love to shout out answers. Kahoot can help everyone answer silently.
Exit ticket
Fun review on assessments
Great discussion starter!
I'm a little scared of this one with middle schoolers.
Paperless exit ticket
Tech helps wake up my students for an early-morning class!
Kahoot is sweet! I'm gonna try it out. I already use polleverywhere
Engage students in fun competition!
I've used Kahoot! before- I think it's great!
Engaging students with review and practice, formative assessment.
Engagement and differentiation
